takes third double win of 2010 by max

max biaggi's second win of the day for Aprilia put him 15 points in the lead of the championship standings,  his main championship rival Leon Haslam (Suzuki Alstare) crashing out of race two, while Carlos Checa's unlucky weekend continued as the Althea Ducati rider once again stopped out on the track while leading. Leon Camier had a career best of second on his Aprilia Alitalia machine and Cal Crutchlow took his Yamaha Sterilgarda bike to third place.

Noriyuki Haga (Ducati Xerox) showed some positive form with a run to fourth place, just one ahead of Troy Corser, who was again a front-runner on his BMW. This was the first time that two Aprilias have finished on the podium together.
In the championship Biaggi now has 257 points, Haslam 242 and Jonathan Rea (Hannspree Ten Kate Honda)
